We empower entrepreneurs through free access to the Learning Community which offers business knowledge, mentorship programs, 24/7 business support chat, weekly group coaching calls, downloadable legal agreements, templates, and documents, networking opportunities, and access to capital.

Yes, we believe in providing ongoing support to entrepreneurs even after they start their businesses. We offer continued mentorship, access to networking events, and opportunities for further education or skills development to help them sustain and grow their ventures.

We are always open to partnerships with organizations and individuals who share our mission. TLE Foundation works with funding partners to extend the mission of empowering entrepreneurs as well as community organizations across the US to distribute free access to our platform to entrepreneurs within their communities. The Lonely Entrepreneur LLC is the parent company of TLE Foundation 501 (c) 3 who developed the Learning Community, the online platform which hosts learning modules, downloadable tools, group coaching calls and chat support.

Yes. TLE Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. In other words, we are a non-profit organization, and your donation to TLE is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Our tax ID number is: 82-5384709.

Yes, all donations to TLE Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law, as long as no goods or services were exchanged. You will receive an email confirmation immediately after submitting your donation, and this email can serve as a receipt for tax purposes. 

Many employers offer workplace giving programs that can supplement your gift to TLE Foundation. In some cases, a matching gift could double the impact of your gift to TLE. To see if your company will match your gift to TLE, use this Match Search Tool or check with your human resources department to see if your company offers this benefit.

Online donations: You will receive an email confirmation after submitting your online donation. This email serves as your donation receipt. You can print or save the email as proof of receipt for tax purposes. 

Check donations: If you donated by check to TLE Foundation you will receive a physical (paper) acknowledgement of your gift through the mail after your donation has been processed.

You can cancel or modify or cancel your monthly donation at any time. If you would like to make a change to your monthly donation or update your personal information, please email [email protected]

On the donate page check the box that says, “This gift is anonymous.” This ensures that your name will not appear on our website or printed materials. Please note that TLE Foundation will keep a record of your name and information associated with your gift in a secure database for payment processing purposes. TLE Foundation will never share this information and will only use it for the purposes of communicating with you directly.

Your privacy and security are important to us. While we need your contact information to process a credit card donation, we will honor your request to not contact you, other than to send you a tax receipt for your donation.

You can stop communication from TLE Foundation these ways:

  • If you receive an email from TLE please select “unsubscribe” at the bottom of the email.

We do not advise sending cash through the mail, as funds can be lost in transit.

Your security is important to us, and we take every measure to ensure your information is protected. TLE Foundation donations are processed by Stripe. Stripe is certified as a Level 1 Service Provider, which is the highest level of certification for payment processors. Stripe complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), a set of security standards established by major card brands like Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. This compliance ensures that Stripe maintains a secure environment for handling credit card data. Stripe employs strong encryption methods to safeguard data transmission, as well as tokenization to enhance security, with advanced machine learning algorithms to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.

Philanthropy is based on voluntary action for the common good. It is a tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life. To assure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the not-for-profit organizations and causes they are asked to support, we declare that all donors have the rights:

  1. To be informed of the organization’s mission, of the way the organization intends to use donated resources and of its capacity to use donations effectively for their intended purposes.
  2. To be informed of the identity of those serving on the organization’s governing board and to expect the board to exercise prudent judgment in its stewardship responsibilities.
  3. To have access to the organization’s most recent financial statements (add link to 990 or other financials)
  4. To be assured their gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given.
  5. To receive appropriate acknowledgement and recognition.
  6. To be assured that information about their donations is handled with respect and with confidentiality to the extent provided by the law.
  7. To expect that all relationships with individuals representing organizations of interest to the donor will be professional in nature.
  8. To be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees of the organization or hired solicitors.
  9. To have the opportunity for their names to be deleted from mailing lists that an organization may intend to share.
  10. To feel free to ask questions when making a donation and to receive prompt, truthful and forthright answers.
